• The WEC program at Augsburg is a great one! I am a single parent and it works around my work schedule and let's me have time with my kids too.
• The academics at Augsburg are first rate. I feel like I am getting a first class education
• The PA program is the best! I have learned so much and the faculty are really cool.
• I love being a music therapy major. However, it requires a lot of effort, time, energy, etc. It is one of the heavy majors offered, greater even than pre-med. So it is a lot of work. The job opportunities are becoming more and more popular, and my professor has said that the internship opportunities are usually easy for students to receive.
• The Physics Department is smaller compare to others but this is not a flaw. Getting to know the professors is a lot easier and more convenient. They have amazing connections with the outside world whether it is interships, jobs, or use of facilities.
• Augsburg College is a small private college. The class size is also small making it easier to connect with professors whether it is through email, appointments, or passing by; the professors will get to know you. Not only will the professors get to know you but the students as well. Forming small groups for study sessions and collaborating your ideas is extremely helpful.
• The grading system is a little weird but overall teachers are helpful
• As a liberal private school, there are many different fields offered, and the professors are passionate about what they teach.
• The academics offered is good. There might be work loaded sometimes depending on major but there are many tips provided and help like SI secessions. the professors are easy to talk to and helpful if approached with problem. besides the three floor library places like the student lounge and dorm lab are popular. the application process is easy and they respond quickly to questions.
• Resource Accessibility – Augsburg College has various resources available to students at almost any hour of the day. The library allows students to study virtually any subject known to man while computer labs are located around various parts of the college for easy access to students taking classes in different buildings. Another convenience about these computer labs is both Mac and PC computers are available for use to all students. This provides students with a variety of options when accessing these two completely different types of computers.*(4)
