- I am in the Masters Program working on my Masters Degree in Chemistry. The thing I like about the program I am in is I can choose if I want to do a thesis or non-thesis for my Chemistry degree. The workload has not been that bad and can be managed pretty well. There are opportunities to do research on campus with a professor and sometimes it can be difficult trying to find a lab to do research in. The facilities are pretty okay. As for as classes go, there is a list on the website for graduate students which tells you which classes are needed to earn your degree. I am unsure about the job opportunities after finishing your degree.
- I am in the graduate program, so the classes are relatively small, so it is not hard to learn names. You actually get a chance to learn your professors because they will be teaching the majority if not all the classes you take up until you earn your degree. There are not a lot of students in the program I am in, so you can actually register for classes a day or two before they actually start. There are a variety of places to study besides the library.
- Higher level academics than other schools in the area/state. Low student to staff ratio so they are willing to put in extra time to ensure you succeed.
- Great professors who love what they do and are genuine with the students. Great academic programs with unique opportunities for all students.
- As the most well respected, christian university within the state of Mississippi jobs are easy to come by.*(4)
