沙斯塔学院（Shasta College，缩写SCC）位于加利福尼亚州的雷丁市（Redding），是一所公立社区学院，成立于1950年，拥有在校学生8千多人。沙斯塔学院也是加州社区学院系统112个成员之一，校园占地0.32平方公里。*(1)

Academic Experience: As far as the academics are concerned for my school they do not have much to chose from, and many students do not seem happy. I did not feel welcomed during my class registration process and when I talked to the counselor about taking classes they did not seem to be interested to help me.
Academic Experience: At my current school they unfortunately do not offer much for there students in the specific major I am looking to finish with is nutrition/dietician. However I am looking to transfer to a State University after fall of 2014 to better achieve my goals. I am not very pleased with my school at this time, and wish they had more to offer.
Overall Experience: I am a newer student, but first impressions have not been very welcoming. *(3)
