PCAT，全称“Pharmacy College Admission Test”，也即美国药学院入学考试，是进入美国多数大学药学博士（Pharm.D）项目的必需的考试。*(1)

考试内容

PCAT共分七个部分，包含阅读、计量、生物、化学和阅读理解五个选择题部分，外加两个写作部分。整体而言，PCAT考试内容及难易程度均与GRE类似，其专业知识部分相对简单，约只相当于国内高中到大学之间的水准。国内学生的考试成绩主要受限于自身的英语水平，而非专业知识水平。

PCAT考试的选择题部分的结构如下：

Reading Comprehension	48	Reading passages on social or natural science-related topics and questions involving the comprehension, analysis, and evaluation of passage content
Quantitative Ability	48	Mathematical processes, concepts, and relationships, including applications of basic math, algebra, probability and statistics, pre-calculus, and calculus.

注：除上述五个选择题部分外，PCAT还另有两个写作部分。

PCAT每道选择题都计为10分，选对计10分，选错计0分，因此每个部分的满分均为480分，取五项平均值即为最后的总分。此外，PCAT的成绩单还会包括一个百分比排名，根据的是一段时间内考生分数，计算出来的排名。

PCAT考试只在美国举办，欲参加该考试的学生必需身在美国，或以旅游签证等的身份前往美国参加。尽管有不少美国大学的药学博士（Pharm.D）项目只向美国公民或永久居民开放，但参加PCAT考试本身并没有身份限制。报名费为199美元。*(4)
