My experience at MiraCosta College has been incredibly positive, and I'm proud to be on track to graduate with a 3.9 GPA. The college offers a supportive environment that encourages academic excellence. I appreciate the passionate faculty who genuinely care about students' success and provide valuable resources for learning. The diverse range of courses has allowed me to explore my interests while focusing on my goal of becoming an occupational therapist.
One area for improvement could be the availability of hands-on experiences, such as internships or lab opportunities, especially in health sciences. I believe increasing these opportunities would better prepare students for future careers. Overall, MiraCosta has played a significant role in my academic journey, and I'm grateful for the connections I've made and the knowledge I've gained.

MiraCosta College has been a transformative and rewarding experience. The education is high-quality, with knowledgeable professors who genuinely care about student success. The support services, like academic counseling and the transfer center, have been crucial in helping me navigate my academic journey. The campus community is welcoming and diverse, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration. Overall, MiraCosta has provided me with a strong foundation for my future goals, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a supportive and enriching college experience.
All of my classes were online and very well managed by my professors. However, I had to pay out of state tuition because I haven’t lived here for a year yet and the school was listed in Sallie Mae as a available for a loan however the school themselves didn’t accept it and informed us that they do not accept outside loans. This was very frustrating as I already have to pay a lot of money for being out of state and there is no possible way to be a full time student there without paying thousands of dollars even with financial aid.
