Before I came to Australia, I knew that it was a country that embraced migrants from all different races, and that it had excellent opportunities in education. I study in Bathurst, a regional city about 3 hours west of Sydney, and I did a lot of research about the city before I arrived. I enjoy the calmness of regional living - it has been a great opportunity to learn about regional Australian culture and how to live well in a different culture.
