As an early college student, I found Alpena Community College very flexible, easy, and overall good experience. There is a vast amount of programs, including art classes.
While a sophomore in highschool, I was offered an opportunity to participate in the Early College Program. Which went through Alpena Community College, and allowed me to earn college credits while completing my highschool education. Then one year after highschool, I was able to earn enough credits to receive my first associates degree in Sociology, free of charge!! You do not have to pay anything while in the program, unless you fail a class. As long as your a hardworking dedicated student, you can gain so much for free with some serious work!!
great teachers who are human and genuinely care, flexible/work with students on testing times and fairness in grading. Oscoda campus is unfortunately a bit "run down" and needs some updating but overall ok facility
