The Admission to Graduate and Professional Schools report presents information on recent graduates whose first destination after graduation was to pursue additional education. Filters allow for selecting School, Major, Graduate Area of Study, Graduate Degree Pursuing, Name of Graduate School, and Undergraduate Degree Year. Visuals show the distribution by Area of Study as well as Graduate Degree Pursuing. These calculations only include students whose first destination is pursuing additional education.
The Employment report presents information on recent graduates whose first destination after graduation was to be employed. Filters allow for selecting School, Major, Employer, Industry, and Degree Year. Visuals show the distribution by Industries as well as by the status of those pursuing employment but not further education.
The Degrees Awarded report presents the count of Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees for the last five academic years either by Gender or by School. The figure presents a visual of the trend over time.
The Majors Completed report presents the count of Majors by Degree and by School for the last five academic years. Individual Majors, Schools, and Program Level may be selected.
The Internship Participation report provides the percentage of graduates that interned sometime during their time at Rice. It also lists the Internship Companies that hosted the students, as well as details about their internships.
The Licensing Exam Passing Rates report provides statistics on the number of students who attempted and passed two sets of tests. The first is the Fundamentals in Engineering Exam of the National Council for Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) necessary to become a licensed Professional Engineer. The second is the Educator Certification Exam of the Texas Education Agency for students pursuing a high school teaching career.
