Our courses

To help you navigate our diverse range of study options, we have grouped our courses into five study areas. In each you will find a range of courses with information on what you'll study, practical experiences, the amazing facilities we offer to support your education, potential career opportunities, entry requirements, fees and scholarships.

We also have a range of pathway options to help you get started at University, with the potential of progressing to further study upon completion.

Dementia and Ageing

Healthcare workers and professionals with greater knowledge and skills in ageing and dementia and ageing will be critical in delivering enhanced capacity to a sector which is facing an enormous challenge both now and into the future with the increasing prevalence of dementia.

Health Sciences

With a range of courses in allied and community health, help discover and deliver the next generation of transformative health and medical research outcomes for your community.

Laboratory Medicine

In medical laboratories all around the world, bright minds are helping to diagnose and track the treatment of human disease – and bring new discoveries to light. This course gives you the chance to join their ranks.

Medicine

Medicine is a caring profession underpinned by a research-led evidence base that is applied to both individuals and communities with compassion and justice.

Medical Research

Push the boundaries of what science knows about human health. If you've got a passion for saving lives, helping people and conducting scientific experiments, then this is the area of study for you.

Nursing

Nurses are also strong leaders in health care working closely with healthy and unwell people, communities and other health professionals as part of a team.

Paramedicine

Paramedics provide care to patients in the community and out of hospital settings working closely with their colleagues, often in situations that are both physically and emotionally challenging.

Pharmacy

Pharmacists are medication experts and optimise medication & therapeutic management of the patient.

Psychology

Psychology is about finding human solutions to complex problems considering the explanations and examines the causes of behaviour.

Research Honours:

An Australian honours degree is the standard pathway for entry into a higher research degree, providing you with the experience and skills to take on advanced postgraduate research.

These specialised degrees involve deeply investigating a research topic and writing a thesis, usually full-time over one year. Entry requirements for an honours degree vary by program.

Most honours students complete the program during an honours year, an additional year of study following completion of a bachelor's degree. Students can also complete honours 'on-course', where the honours component is embedded in the bachelor's degree over four or five years, such as our Bachelor of Pharmacy with Applied Honours.
