  • Asylum Seekers Fee Concession

    We pleased to offer a tuition fee concession to all asylum seekers or children of asylum seekers who meet the eligibility criteria.

  • Women in Economics and Finance PGT Scholarship

    Access to education is one contributing factor leading to the underrepresentation of women in Economics and Finance. Therefore, theobjectiveof this programme is to help address this situation by providing opportunities for women globally to continue with their studies in Economics and Finance.

  • Chevening Awards

    Queen Mary works closely with theChevening- the UK government’s international scheme aimed at developing global leaders - to provide a large number of full scholarships for study on any of our one-year Masters courses.

  • National Research and Innovation Agency of Uruguay (ANII)

    ANII (National Research and Innovation Agency of Uruguay) and Queen Mary are co-funding postgraduate scholarships for Uruguayan students to study any 1-year Masters or PhD programme.

  • Pakistan HEC-QMUL PhD Scholarships

    Queen Mary University of London, in partnership with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan will offers up to 15 scholarships per year to Pakistani students wishing to enrol in PhD research programmes at Queen Mary.

  • ANID (Becas Chile)

    Queen Mary part-funds a number of awards in conjunction with ANID (National Agency for Research and Development). This scholarship is available to Masters and PhD applicants from Chile, in any subject.

  • Jean Monnet Scholarship

    The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme aims at increasing the number of experts in the EU field and supporting Turkey’s administrative capacity-building efforts for the effective implementation of the EU acquis.

  • Vasyli Award, Royal College of Podiatry for Podiatric Sports Medicine

    This award was created after the founder of theVasyli Foundationand world-renowned podiatrist, Phillip Vasyli, passed away in 2015. As part of his legacy, he wished to further the education of podiatrists in the field of podiatric sports medicine.

    It is available to UK resident Podiatrists to gain a Postgraduate Diploma or an MSc inPodiatric Sports Medicineat Queen Mary University of London.

    The Stationers’ Data Publishing Bursary offered by the Stationers’ Company is available for students with an offer to study for the Big Data Science MSc programme at Queen Mary University of London.

    The Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers, usually known as the Stationers' Company, is one of the livery companies of the City of London. The majority of company members work in, or supply, the paper, print, publishing, packaging, office products, newspaper, broadcasting and online media industries.

  • Google DeepMind Scholarships

    Queen Mary University of London aims to encourage students from diverse backgrounds to consider a future in AI and related disciplines and to increase the number of people from groups currently underrepresented in the field.

    In the spirit of this ambition, applications for the Google DeepMind Scholarships will be considered from students who identify as femaleand students from Blackbackgrounds.

    There are three scholarships available for the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Sanctuary Scholarship 2024/25

    Queen Mary University of London is offering tuition fee and maintenance support for up to two undergraduate students who are asylum seekers or have a temporary immigration status awarded as a result of a claim for asylum but outside of the immigration rules, studying on degree programmes in the Faculty of Science & Engineering or the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

  • Queen Mary Annual Fund Scholarship

    This is a means tested bursary for permanent residents (at least 3 years) in the City of London, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Newham or the London Borough of Hackneyorstudents who have attended the Drapers' Academy Sixth Form in the London Borough of Havering.

  • Energy & Climate Change Law Institute Scholarship

    The Energy & Climate Change Law Institute is pleased to offer two partial tuition fee scholarships of £7,500 each for the September 2024 intake, for students wishing to follow the LLM in Energy and Climate Change Law.

  • MSc Economics Scholarship

    The School of Economics and Finance are offering up to 20 scholarships of varying amounts (up to full tuition fees), to outstanding applicants from the MSc Economics programme.

  • Progression Scholarship (Undergraduate to Postgraduate Taught)

    Our award is for Queen Mary University London Home fee-status students looking to study a postgraduate taught programme within he School of Economics and Finance and covers the difference between the UK fee and the UK Masters Loan.

  • Commonwealth Masters Scholarships

    Commonwealth Masters Scholarships are for candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries, for full-time study at a UK university.

  • Commonwealth PhD Scholarships (low income countries)

    Commonwealth PhD Scholarships are for candidates from low and middle income Commonwealth countries, for three years of full-time doctoral study at a UK university.

  • Commonwealth Split Site Scholarships

    Commonwealth Split-site Scholarships are for candidates from low and middle income countries, as classified by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC), in the Commonwealth, to conduct research at a university in the UK for 12 months.

  • Bentham-Moxon Trust B.A. Krukoff Fellowship Bursary in Tropical African Botany

    A fully funded bursary is available for a student to study on the MSc in Plant & Fungal Taxonomy, Diversity and Conservation. This opportunity is aimed at students with an interest and background in tropical African botany.

  • HSS PhD Studentships 2024

    We are offering fully-funded PhD studentships in all areas that fall within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences for September 2024 entry. Part-time applicants and current first-year students are eligible to apply.

  • Queen Mary Alumni Loyalty Award

    If you are a Queen Mary graduate you may be eligible for £1,000 off your postgraduate degree tuition fees for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry or a 10% discount for programmes in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and programmes inFaculty of Science and Engineering.

  • MRC Doctoral Training Partnership Programme in Translational Biomedical Sciences

    We offering Medical Research Council studentships on Digital Technologies, Informatics for Health, Advanced Therapeutics and Precision Medicine related to cancer and inflammation medicine.

  • Aldgate and Allhallows Foundation Scholarship

    This is a means tested scholarship for permanent residents in the inner district of City of London or London Borough of Tower Hamlets who have lived there for at least three years.

  • Derek Shuttleworth Educational Trust Scholarship

    This is a means tested scholarship for permanent residents in the London Borough of Hackney who have lived there for at least three years.

  • UK BAME PhD Studentships

    Fully funded PhD studentships for applicants who are from a British black, asian or ethnic minority background.

  • Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust Bursary

    The Trust awards bursaries of up to £5,000 a year for UK university postgraduate students, who are in financial need, and whose parent or spouse is a commercial traveller, pharmacist or grocer.

  • Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust Undergraduate Bursary

    The Trust award bursaries of up to £3,000 a year for UK university students, who are in financial need, and whose parent or spouse is a commercial traveller, pharmacist or grocer.

  • Marshall Scholarships

    The Queen Mary Marshall Scholarship is made available each year for one US citizen wishing to pursue postgraduate study.

  • Fulbright-QMUL Scholar Award
