Our Research
Research is the prime activity of the school and forms the central core around which all our other activities, including teaching, training, clinical care and public outreach take place. In order to achieve our objectives, we need to further support our areas of strength, but also concentrate more effort and resources on the areas identified as demonstrating potential to be fields of research excellence.
Our research is divided into 4 broad themes: cardiac, cardiovascular data science, metabolic and vascular with our staff conducting world-leading research in a number of specialised fields within these themes.
