My overall experience at Pasadena City College has been positive. I’ve found that PCC offers a great academic environment with helpful professors, especially in the STEM departments, and plenty of resources to support student success. The campus itself is well-maintained, and the community feels inclusive and diverse. I appreciate the variety of classes and transfer opportunities, like the TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) program, which I’m currently aiming for.
One thing I’d like to see improve is the availability of high-demand classes, especially for STEM majors. Courses like Physics can get full quickly, and the waitlisting process can be stressful, especially when these classes are critical for transfer. More sections or better systems for ensuring access to required courses would make the experience even better.

My experience at this campus has been very positive. It has been a very different experience than high school in the best way. So far I have met and seen extremely dedicated and passionate professors who fearlessly lead the way. They help and encourage students including myself. I love going to school now which is crazy because I used to hate going to school. The atmosphere is nice with all the trees, so I love it. I would like to see more campus life happening. There is a fair amount yet more is always better to create a closer atmosphere. :)
Pasadena City College is very welcoming and friendly. The campus is very beautiful and it’s easy to get around even as a freshman because they maps everywhere and every building is fairly unique. There’s also plenty of student resources and the students themselves are friendly. The offices are very slow though and not very accommodating. I feel like I’m jumping through the same hoops every time I deal with them. Campus security also isn’t very active. My bike got stolen in broad daylight in front of a camera and I was told I should’ve gotten a better lock. They also told me that bikes getting stolen is very common but I’ve never heard about it before and since we’re in Pasadena I figured nothing would happen. Regardless, they should have some security presence by the bike locks and garages deter theft. Even if it’s just a few by those areas, I’d feel a lot better about others cars and bikes not getting stolen.
