My experience at Laredo College has been very positive. As a full-time student, I didn’t attend many events, but I appreciated the college’s focus on community. Working as a work-study allowed me to see how both professors and staff are the backbone of the institution. Laredo College offers valuable resources, such as tutoring, computers, and job opportunities. The president’s dedication to the school is evident in her efforts to ensure every student feels supported. While there are currently few active clubs, I hope to see more extracurricular options in the future. My History professors, in particular, helped me realize my academic path through their passion and dedication to teaching.
I'm an Early College Student for United South High School. We are currently enrolled with Laredo College in order to access our Dual Enrollment courses. I've been to the campus a few times. It's a wonderful area, and has opportunities for Palomino students.
I've been at Laredo College as a dual-enrollment student for 4 years. With the Laredo College dual enrollment program, I was able to graduate high school with an associate's degree. I am currently in my senior year of high school with 51 hours of dual enrollment completed. Laredo College has been a really good college, with good professors and offered a variety of certifications.
