Research in the Centre for Technology Infusion
Bringing ideas to life by turning research into development and building next generation technologies to solve problems and create a better future.
The Centre for Technology Infusion hosts 11 research programs that delivers advanced technological solutions across a wide range of industries including: agri-tech, med-tech, energy tech, smart cities, defence, and logistics.
We focus on technologies involving wireless systems and sensors, microchips, firmware and software and complex data processing.
Our research teams work collaboratively with our industry partners to produce solutions to modern day problems using next generation technologies. The centre works closely with partners to diagnose the problem, design and develop a solution and conduct tests for prototype designs. The end result is a realisation of a concept idea in a market ready, cutting-edge product.
Recent examples includes the centre collaborating on the first trial of anautonomous bus in the state of Victoriaand thedevelopment of a micro-chip to help monitor food products throughout the supply chain.
