Accepted English tests

To determine the right pathway for you, we will use your English proficiency test scores. We accept: International English Language Testing System (IELTS), Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), Pearson Test of English (PTE), Linguaskill and other valid English language tests.

If you are unsure of your English skill level, we can provide a free online placement test, known asPassword, to assess your current level of English and then to plan your pathway. This can be done through a Curtin registered agent or partner.

How to apply

If you are planning to study Curtin English as a pathway to Curtin College or Curtin University, you will apply through your application for your undergraduate, postgraduate or diploma program. You will receive a conditional offer that packages your University or College course with the Curtin English pathway that you will need to complete.

If your would like to study our ELB course without a pathway to Curtin, you’re living overseas, and have not yet enrolled in studies in Australia, please enquire about the availability of our engaging online course.

Fees

Your Curtin English tuition fees must be paid in full by your payment due date outlined on your eInvoice or theAcademic Calendar.
