John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must:

• Be an Australian resident eligible to represent Australian Rugby
• Meet the Academic requirements for your chosen program
• Have experience playing rugby at a high level
• Hold strong leadership skills and community involvement

If you meet the eligibility criteria for this scholarship, we encourage you to apply by following the below steps:

2. Complete the Bond UniversityScholarship Application Form. Simply use the same log-in details as used for your study application and enter 'scholarship' in the keyword field on theStart an Applicationtab.

You must complete and submit your scholarship application before the application closing date as no late scholarship applications will be considered!

Yes! As a John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship applicant, you will be required to submit the following documents as part of your scholarship application:

• Evidence of your leadership, initiative, and service to your school and/or community. If you are a diploma or undergraduate applicant, it is a COMPULSARY component of your application to use ourSummary of Achievements templateto present this evidence. You will need to complete all sections of the template provided and upload it as one Word or PDF document, to your scholarship application.
  Your application CANNOT be considered if you provide your evidence in any other form, such as a personal CV or resume.
• A detailed Sport CV highlighting all sporting achievements
• At least two relevant references from individuals who can support sporting achievements (please upload as one Word or PDF document)

Yes! We encourage you to apply for as many scholarships as you are eligible for. This should all be done in the one scholarship application form. You will only be considered for the scholarships you have applied for so ensure you have included them all in your application before you submit it!

If you are applying for more than one scholarship with different application closing dates, it is important to submit your scholarship application form by the earliest scholarship closing date.

Applications for 2025 entry closed on Thursday, 1 August, 2024.
