As a prospective student set to attend Lewis University this fall, where I’ll be studying Computer Science and playing lacrosse, I wanted to share my experience from a recent overnight stay on campus.
I had the chance to immerse myself in dorm life, dining, athletics, classes, and exploring the campus. I was surprised by the campus's immaculate condition and well-maintained facilities. The dorms I stayed in were among the nicest I’ve seen, and I felt incredibly safe throughout my stay. The classes I attended had engaging professors who cared about their students, making the environment welcoming and supportive. The admissions office was organized and helpful, making my visit smooth. Athletics at Lewis are well funded and offer amazing opportunities. And everyone I encountered on campus was friendly, which added to the positive atmosphere. I cannot wait to start my journey at Lewis University in the fall and wholeheartedly recommend checking it out!

It's a nice quaint local liberal arts college that is affordable for the common student. It's very much a commuter school though at heart, so the campus isn't very active nor lively beyond class hours, so it isn't a great choice if you're looking for that "traditional college experience".
I like the atmosphere, the people are great! I would like to see a change in some of the teaching. Some of the teachers I'm not sure if it is a specific degree, but the teachers have their way of teaching and do not adapt to the students. I found it hard at times to keep up with the teacher's style of teaching, and her methods just didn't help me understand the material. But other than that, it is a lot of great people on campus, and because it is small, I feel that I can get to know a lot of people. There are also a lot of things to do on campus a lot of different activities to do and a lot of clubs to get involved with. Even though I am not a party person, I did find myself at times wanting to hang out and go out with the people that I met and had become friends with. The campus has given me a different outlook on-campus living. I did transfer from a JUCO college where there was no on-campus living, and I thought that was the way to go, Lewis has definitely changed my perspective.
