Attending Tyler Junior College has been an amazing experience! It has small class sizes, but this helps students to meet one on one with the professors. Furthermore, the supportive environment let's students like me succeed. I'm in Alpha Omicron which is the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Chapter there, and they are some of the most supportive people ever. They want you to succeed and build yourself up even if it includes just doing community service. Moreover, in class my professors answer questions and emails quickly by helping me understand and clarify and confusion about a subject. However, some changes that I would like to see with the school is that some of the buildings get renovated. Some of the teaching facilities are a bit run down and could benefit from some renovations and care. Overall, Tyler Junior College is an excellent school to attend too! You get the opportunity to actually learn and have support.
If you plan on taking an online course at this college, don’t bother wasting your time. The professors are extremely rude and have extremely high expectations in regards to what’s going on at your home life. I have had to drop multiple classes This year due to the fact That professors want you to treat your online courses as if you are in person. I have also had multiple professors Tell me that they purposely withhold information from their syllabus to catch you off guard After You have already invested into their class and it’s too late to change.entire point of taking an online course Is to be able to do assignments When time is available at home.not take an online course and have to schedule my home life around class or make a special trip to the school to take an exam every week so if you’re willing go for it, but as far as I’m concerned, I will never go back to school due to the fact, professors are rude and do not care about people trying to better themselves by getting a degree
