The department offers two undergraduate degrees:Electrical EngineeringandComputer Engineering. These are diverse but related disciplines involving a variety of fields, including, but not limited to, telecommunication systems and networks, electronics and solid state devices, biomedical systems, control systems, power systems and computer architecture. Our undergraduate program is continuously ranked in the top 20 in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. We have over 70 tenured/tenure track faculty and about 1,300 undergraduate students. The opportunities for undergraduate students to participate in research projects, study abroad programs, and even pursue a master's degree while earning their baccalaureate make joining our undergraduate programs an excellent choice.
Our graduate programs are also consistently ranked among the top 20 in the United States. Currently, we have over 700 graduate students. Our high quality research program, low tuition rates, and low cost of living make graduate studies in our programs one of the best values in the world.
