Hear from our Bondies

  • Master of Criminology

Our lecturers were supportive and encouraging, with vast academic knowledge and professional expertise. I excelled in the tailored learning environment provided, which was highly responsive to the challenges of the pandemic. Our learning continued successfully online with lecturers providing additional support. Small class sizes ensured every student had the opportunity to speak and be heard. I’m so grateful for the positive experiences and opportunities – I can’t wait to do a Crim PhD at Bond

  • Criminology

There’s so much happening in criminology – crime never sleeps! We are always updating our programs with new subjects in emergent areas of crime, for example Cybercrime. We organise internships for our students for academic credit during the degree, and most are offered jobs and secure employment too.

Dr Robyn Lincoln - Assistant Professor

"Bond’s Master’s degree provides students with an understanding of the core discipline areas, while equipping students with practical and analytical skills for their rapidly changing world. Given the changes in crime and social harms, our degree looks at crime patterns and trends, public and media influence on policy in how states respond, and situates crime events involving offenders, victims, and communities within internationally and historical contexts."

Dr Terry Goldsworthy - Associate Professor
  • Criminology student

"Bond’s Masters of Criminology is not all about textbooks and theories, but rather the practical experience of what it’s like to work as a criminologist. As a part of my studies I was fortunate enough to take a private tour of a correctional centre. The tour served as a practical application of my studies and was an invaluable opportunity that reminded me of the wide-spectrum of avenues in which I can use my degree to help others achieve a better life.”
