- Our program follows the English proficiency guidelines set by the Graduate School. Refer to “English Proficiency Requirements” under2.4 Admissions of Non-US Citizensin the Graduate School Catalog.
- TOEFL 80 with minimum 18 for each section or IELTS 6.5 with minimum 6.5 for each section. However, a TOEFL score of 90 (minimum 19 for each section) or a IELTS score of 7.0 (minimum 7.0 for each section) is preferred.

Students enrolled full time generally can expect to complete the program in three (3) academic semesters.

Qualified Candidates Should Have:
- A GPA of at least 3.0 (out of 4.0) in the sciences required; overall GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.
- A strong undergraduate mathematics background, including calculus, linear algebra and probability, is highly preferred.
- Students that do not satisfy these requirements may be admitted contingent on completion of additional courses.
- For other skills, including programming, probability theory, accounting, etc. you are strongly recommended to attend thesummer II preparation program.
- Work experience is not required, but can be beneficial.
Deadlines
To be considered for supplemental scholarships for fall admission, a complete application must be submitted byDecember 31.
Applications received byJanuary 31are preferred, but applications are considered at any time. (The Graduate School Priority Deadlineapplies to students requiring a visa).
