“When I first stepped foot onto Assumption’s beautiful campus, I knew I wanted to get involved, but wasn’t sure how or where to start. Immediately I met the kindest, most compassionate peers and mentors that would lead me to three wonderful years of campus involvement. Faculty and staff members reached out and encouraged me to step out of my own comfort zone and join clubs and organizations that would shape who I am today. I have met lifelong friends in each area of involvement, which has made my overall experience at Assumption something I will forever cherish. Fortunately for all students who get involved in this community, the impact of involvement goes beyond the four years in Worcester, MA. The leadership and interpersonal skills I acquired have transformed me into a person who will stand out in my future career. All of these positive aspects of my involvement would not have been possible without my supportive peers and hard-working mentors. I will continue to take away everything I have learned with me for the rest of my life.”

“I was immediately drawn to Assumption because of the sense of community on campus. I’ve always been the type of person who loves being involved. I thrive off of the ideas and support of others and love being able to cross paths with anyone and everyone I can. Having multiple family members who have graduated from Assumption, and a brother who is a rising senior, I can confidently say the tight knit community I have experienced at campus tours and orientation was a view of bonds that lasts throughout the whole journey and beyond. I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this community myself. From CAB events, to football games, concerts, study sessions at Chuck’s, and more, I know each day I spend on campus will comprise of four years that I’ll wish to relive. I feel comfortable saying I’ll never be alone, because being a Greyhound at Assumption implies I’m part of a pack, a family, that’ll be by my side every step of the way.”
