Southwest Texas Junior College(SWTJC) is apubliccommunity collegewith four campuses serving 11 counties in southwestTexas:unincorporatedUvalde County(next toUvaldeand on the site ofGarner Field),[2]Del Rio(northwest portion), next toDel Rio International Airport,[3]unincorporatedMaverick County(nearEagle Pass),[4]andCrystal City, the seat ofZavala County.[5]

Its service area, according to the Texas Education Code, in addition to Uvalde,Val Verde, Maverick, and Zavala Counties, includesDimmit,Edwards,Frio,Kinney,La Salle,Medina, andReal.[6]
