Students in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program apply to and receive their degree from the Carver College of Medicine. Iowa also offers Combined Degree Programs in Medicine (including an MD/JD, MD/MBA, and MD/MPH).
The MD program accepts only applicants who are citizens or permanent residents of the U.S.
Tuition and fees vary by degree program and the type of student you are.
The deadline for receipt of application materials by the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) is Nov. 1. All supplemental application materials must be on file with the College of Medicine by Dec. 15.
For the MD, complete the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) medical school application and list Iowa as the school to which you are applying.
