- The academic level at UIndy is satisfying. It is only as easy/difficult as the student makes it, and I feel as if I am adequately challenged.
- All the psychology pre occupational therapy majors know one another.
- The professors are the best and the work load is not overwhelming.
- The nursing program of this University is very amazing, it is also very helpful for me to prepare my RN license exam, and the professors here help me a lot in classes.
- I go to the University of Indianapolis and the academics here are very great. Each and every one of my teachers do a very great job at teaching us what we need to know for each specific subject. For example I am majoring inClinical Psychologyand haven't yet started classes for that major but the general classes do very well at teaching the subject matter and applying it to real world objectives.
- The staff works together to create a great work enviornment for students and they keep class sizes small to allow for more student/teacher interaction.
- Small Classroom Size – UIndy emphasizes the importance of small classroom sizes and how it is better for the students. So far, I have been extremely happy with the smaller classes and the ability to talk to professors comfortably. The professors will know your name. The registration process has been a bit iffy, they are trying new methods and still are working out the kinks of online registration. The workloads are not bad, but it always depends on the teacher and class being taken.
- Great for OT Students – Freshmen are able to apply for direct entry into graduate school for Occupational Therapy, which was the main reason I chose to attend the University of Indianapolis. I have not started any of my specific occupational therapy classes yet, but have heard it is highly rated. *(4)
