• Being an education major, you have to go out into the schools and begin to teach lessons in specific subjects. It's great practice and a lot of fun although you still have all your other classes and school work on-top of that.Overall, they are pretty fair with the grading and making schedules work for each student. The faculty and staff really want each student to strive and do well. They make time to get to know you and are upfront about everything that may or may not happen after graduation. They do prepare you to the best of their ability.
• The class sizes here are awesome and the professors know you by first name for the most part. Relationships are important for professors and students and you truly feel like they care about your success.
• I am a history major, its a very good program with great professors.
• St. Ambrose will never be confused with Ivy League schools, but does have a good PT program.
• There are easy and hard classes and there are good and bad professors. It depends on the person's interests. But overall, most of the professor are really nice and they care about their students.
• In Saint Ambrose University they have a really good OT, PT and nursing program. Students from all over the Midwest come to Saint Ambrose to join this programs. In St. Ambrose, every student have their own adviser and they help students with their programs, internships, and every other thing they need.
• Professors know the students and try to help on a regular basis.
• The English program is great! All of the professors are so willing to help out with anything you need. There are also a ton of study abroad options if you're interested in going away for a whole semester or just during a break for one class.
• Great for Health Care Majors – I came to Saint Ambrose because I loved their Masters of Occupational Therapy program and I really wanted to get in. For the health science careers there is a new state of the art facility and an amazing faculty. They have small classes and a friendly-small town attitude. I just got into the program and so far I love everything about it.*(4)
