1. Transportation: Students are allowed to have cars on campus after their first semester.

2. Local Atmosphere: The greater Burlington area is a truly unique place to live. The people are friendly, the natural landscape is beautiful, and the city itself has an incredible atmosphere and energy.

3. Diversity: People are accepting, but it is a small liberal arts college in Vermont-- doesn't appeal to too many diverse people.

4. Drug Safety: Lot of people smoke weed...its VT. Mainly just weed and alcohol like healthy young adults.

5. Off-Campus Housing: St. Michaels is a four year residential campus. Students live on campus all four years. Seniors all live in town houses on campus, as preparation for independent living after college. *(4)
