美术硕士（MFA in Fine Arts）为期2年（4个连续15周的秋季/春季学期）共需修读60个学分。下文基本要求、申请说明均针对MFA项目，无干其它项目。*(1)
基本要求
- 语言要求：TOEFL总分不低于79分，IELTS总分不低于6.5分，PTE总分不低于53分，三者均无单项分数要求。（注：学校官网同一个页面TOEFL要求说法不一，另一说法为总分不低于93分）。*(1)(2)(3)
- 学位背景要求：正规大学本科毕业并取得学士学位，无需BFA学位
- GPA：未做要求，通常美国大学研究生院要求申请者本科GPA，尤其是大三和大四GPA不低于3.0，但艺术类项目更注重个人作品质量，对于GPA要求可能有所降低
- GRE：未作要求
- 申请时间：仅接受秋季学期入学申请，1月5日前递交完整申请材料，将优先考虑授予Merit-based奖学金*(2)(3)

普拉特艺术研究生院设有以下研究生学位项目，分别是：
- 艺术与设计教育硕士（MS in Art and Design Education）设有以下三种项目可选：
- Program I- M.S. in Art and Design Education (Initial Certification)：共需修读38个学分，满足学前~12年级视觉艺术初级教师资格（Initial Teacher Certification），要求申请者本科毕业，GPA3.0艺术，修读过25个学分的艺术、设计和/或艺术史课程
- Program II - M.S. in Art and Design Education (Professional Certification)：共需修读34个学分，面向拥有初级教师资格，且希望拥有硕士学位和专业教师资格证书的人士开设
